Put A Little Love In Your Life - Adopt A Chihuahua

MAC
My best friend is Talia Signorelli

Hi I am Mac, a thirteen year old male who came to CRT after my breeder suddenly passed away. I have a few health issues that will likely cause me to live the rest of my life with my Foster Mom but I sure could use a Best Friend or Two.

Let me tell you a bit about myself. As a senior citizen I have lost most of my teeth especially in my lower jaw. That tooth loss has contributed to an unstable lower jaw that causes my tongue to protrude most of the time and also is the reason that I must have all my food pureed since I cannot chew food properly. I must be very careful not to injure my jaw because there is not enough bone there to mend it if it would break.

Foster Mom doesn’t seem to mind that she has to blend all my food or the fact that I cannot always control my bladder. She made me something called a “belly band" (lots of them really) that I wear to catch my “booboos” and she has to change me very often. The way I figure it, it's like you guys wearing a tie. It just makes me look more distinguished.

Foster Mom doesn’t seem to mind my little issues because she says I am the sweetest, most handsome little guy she has seen in some time. AND I am! Even though I am older and have some arthritis in my back, I love to play with the youngsters in this household although play tires me and I have to nap often. When my foster parents see that I am tiring they put me in my special bed in my own special place so I can get my extra rest and I love it there.

I could use a Best Friend or two and I hope you can find it in your heart to help me out. If you become my Friend I will write to you often and tell you of my latest adventures. I may be older but I still have some adventures to experience and with your assistance I will realize those dreams.
